AMPRO – Transmart Fast-Track General Manager Training Programme

This is an 18-month fast-track management training programme run by Carrefour Indonesia. AMPRO is involved in providing opportunities for Singaporean young professionals with or without working experience to participate in this management training.

Trainees will attend an interview and when selected will attend the training in Indonesia. At the end of the programme, successful trainees will be offered to manage a world-class supermarket and overseeing several hundreds of staff in the Transmart Carrefour chain.

•    The first batch of 6 applicants for this training programme has been pre-positioned after a selection process in Singapore.

Potential Projects:
•    The True Colours workshop which is designed to provide insights into why people behave as they do and how they can work effectively with one another by increasing one’s understanding of each other's way of doing things.  It is a team building event whereby we learn how to turn irritation into appreciation and conflict into cooperation by opening up lines of communication, embracing differences and bringing out the best in everyone.

•    Mohd Ismail Shariff, a  co-founder of AMPRO who has served in  senior positions in Apple and Salesforce, has facilitated True Coloursworkshops for senior executives in Apple and Salesforce worldwide. The responses from participants have been very positive.

•    AMPRO is currently working out the details with a corporate organization in Indonesia to conduct this workshop for its senior management personnel.

•    AMPRO’s future areas of training include essential skills in the workplace, security checks and patrols in major buildings, customer service and leadership courses.

•    AMPRO also intends to set up its Panel of Human Capital Consultants that can mentor and guide trainers as well as trainees in the relevant training courses offered by AMPRO.  Consultants include Ismail Ibrahim, Imran Musa, Mohd Ismail Shariff, and Muhammad Khalis Imran.
